For over two decades now, Rushhi Entertainment's guiding philosophy has been to bring people of all ages, backgrounds and interests together to celebrate the culture, flavors, sights and sounds of the South Asian diaspora. In a time of social distancing and health concerns from COVID-19 - and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the CDC and state government of Virginia - we have come to the difficult decision to postpone the spring/summer festival and hold the festival on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1. We cannot wait to see all our patrons, vendors and sponsors back under one roof this fall. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy a safe and socially-distant summer.
Sample all varieties of South Asian cuisine from some of the greater Washington area's best restaurants, including appetizers like samosas, bhel puri and chaat, main entrees like curries, kabobs, and idlis, and a huge variety of desserts.
Enjoy electric live performances, including music, dancing and more from some of the area's top talent and best dance schools, singers and all around entertainers. Want to perform on stage? Submit an application today!
Over 300 booths featuring the best gifts, including jewelry, arts, handicrafts, decorations, paintings, books, housewares and apparel for the whole family from the Washington area's top South Asian merchants – all under one roof.
